Meet Adam and Sarah – the duo behind Hitchen’s Kitchen.
During the bizarre year that was 2020, we, as a nation, have had to think of ways to adapt and overcome.
We realised that there was nowhere in the Ribble Valley (and surrounding areas) that provided sushi so, with Adam being a highly trained sushi chef, we thought we’d take the leap into bringing the taste of Japan to your home!
Who Are We?
Hitchen’s Kitchen was started by Adam Hitchen and Sarah Farrimond. We feel very strongly about providing a personal, bespoke and top quality service from our home to yours.
Adam trained at Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland and then completed ‘stages’ at Michelin Star establishments such as The Fat Duck at Bray (Heston Blumenthal’s flagship restaurant) and Gidleigh Park. Latterly, he worked in high-end restaurants in Manchester where he learned the art of sushi.
Adam’s skills, combined with Sarah’s marketing, business development and hospitality expertise, are the perfect recipe for success. We are excited for the future and have so many ideas for menu developments and new concepts so watch this space!

All of our sushi is created fresh to order and we source only the best authentic ingredients. Our attention to detail, creativity and amazing flavour combinations ensure that you will receive a show-stopping feast each and every time.
