Frequently asked questions

Where do I collect from?Your collection will be from Lower Dutton Farm, Gallows Lane, Ribchester PR3 3XX.
On sat nav the postcode will take you to the wrong house; we are half a mile up from the bottom of Gallows Lane (the Blackburn Road end) on the left. Look out for Lower Dutton Cottage – we are just next to that, we have a big gravel drive – Lower Dutton Farm, that’s us! Please see our Contact Us page for very detailed directions.
Cross ContaminationTo avoid any cross-contamination for people who have certain dietary requirements (for religious reasons, for example), we prepare all sushi rolls of the same type at the same time, and then they are wrapped individually in cling film until they are ‘plated up’ – meaning all rolls are kept separate.
We thoroughly clean down all utensils and the workstation before we start preparing the next menu item. There is little to no cross-contamination but it is essential you inform us of any special dietary requirements when ordering.
DeliveryWe occasionally do deliveries to certain areas; we will post details of this on our social media but please contact us for more information.
PaymentPayment in full is required upon ordering.
Covid-19 SafeWe continue to operate according to all government guidelines.
StorageAlways to be eaten as soon as possible as it’s rolled fresh to order so bear this in mind when you schedule your collection slot.

Special/bespoke orders can be arranged subject to a minimum order value and depending on requirements.
How long will the sushi last?We recommend eating your freshly made Sushi as close to collection time as possible and certainly on the same day. You can find out more details here.
Do you cater for vegans? We offer a plant-based menu each week. We try our best to cater to as many dietary requirements and personal preferences as possible.
We understand the importance of taking this stuff really seriously!
It is imperative that you inform us of any allergies when placing your order.
What are your allergen protocols? We always prepare any items for people with allergies before any others, so that the risk of cross-contamination is minimalised.
WARNING – whilst we do our utmost to cater to your needs, we do use a lot of authentic oriental ingredients in our sushi and handle a lot of products with allergens in our kitchen meaning we can’t ever guarantee that anything is 100% allergen-free.
Do you offer catering? We can offer bespoke catering requests, get in touch to see how we can help you with your special occasion!
